Years of love
|
As silver as the moon above
Most precious are our years of love
A love that's deep as occean's depth
As dear as treasure sweetly kept
Our love doth span the sea and sky
And beckons Sun to shine on high
What Morning cited her poetry
Before us bowed on bended knee
Our love is as the lily grows
As priceless gift of budding rose
As beauty's essence flowing flee
And fulfilled dreams of destiny
I love thee, as night stars rise
Much more than life itself surmised
I married my best friend, 'tis true
God lights, my universe with you
