Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the USA and second Monday of October every year. The difference in date is because Canada experiences autumn sooner that America. In both the countries, Thanksgiving is celebrated as a long weekend with families and friends.
This year, i.e. 2009, Thanksgiving Day is on 26th November in the USA and on 12 th October in Canada. |
